Description
The IT Manager will lead the technology strategy, infrastructure, and system security for Traders Hub. This role ensures that all trading platforms, operational systems, cybersecurity measures, and IT services perform at the highest standards to support regulatory compliance, business continuity, and seamless trading operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the IT strategy aligned with business objectives and growth plans.
- Ensure full compliance with SCA and international FX brokerage technology standards.
- Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead the company’s digital transformation efforts including automation and system modernization.
- Oversee administration and performance of trading platforms, including, MetaTrader 5 (MT5), Centroid Bridge / Risk Management System, CRM / Client Portal / IB Portal, and Payment gateways and KYC systems integration
- Implement robust cybersecurity framework, penetration testing, and access control management.
- Ensure reliable infrastructure performance including servers, networks, VOIP, and cloud systems.
- Oversee hardware and software procurement and lifecycle management.
- Manage IT helpdesk and ensure zero downtime across systems.
- Drive development and integration of new tools, automation enhancements, and platform upgrades.
- Evaluate emerging technologies relevant to forex, AI analytics, and digital client services.
- Lead cross-department technology projects to improve efficiency and client experience.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certifications preferred: CISSP, CISM, ITIL, PMP, Azure/AWS.
- Minimum 8–12 years of IT experience, including leadership roles in FX Brokerage / Financial Services.
- Proven hands-on experience with MT5 and bridge/liquidity systems (mandatory).
